UgBloc Session Talks are quarterly talks meant to equip new and old Ugandan bloggers with necessary skills to help them become better bloggers. The trainings shall comprise and are not limited to workshops and blogging camps. The end goal, is to ensure that bloggers in the community are able to elevate their craft, improve their consistency and can apply blogging etiquette to their work such that their and the community’s profile mutually grows.
Uganda Blogging Community is proud to introduce to you our first session talk and training session of the year :Blogging101 to be held on Saturday 25th March at Uganda Society (Uganda Museum) where we’d like to interact with young(new) and upcoming bloggers, pass on essential skills and knowledge about blogging and allow conversation with already established bloggers.
The half day session [10am-1pm] will tackle the topics below
- Basics of blogging
- Standing out as a blogger
- Defining your space as a blogger
- Monetary vs voluntary blogging
This will then be followed by interactions.
